Why I created Laimée

In summer of 2025, I experienced for the second time in 2 years the discomfort of a tenniselbow. As passionate tennisplayer in my forties and a busy mom, I didn't want to spend weeks or months away from the sport I love.

Like many others, I followed the traditional route: more than 18 schockwave therapy sessions, extensive physiotherapy, rest, elbow braces, red light therapy - all with one objective: keep playing. One night I could not sleep as I was in so much pain, I started researching the issue more deeply. While these interventions all had their place, I kept asking myself the same question:

Why was nobody talking about nutrition?

Most approaches focus on the body from the outside — through movement, therapy or mechanical interventions.
But what about supporting the body from within? That question eventually became the foundation of Laimée.

I began researching ingredients and looking for supplements that could provide the nutritional support I was searching for. But to bring those ingredients together, I found myself needing five or six different products — each with its own formulation and dosage, but without one clear, integrated approach. That did not feel like a real solution.

With more than 20 years of experience in product innovation — including a decade in the food and nutrition industry — and an engineering background, I was used to evaluating evidence, questioning existing approaches and thinking from first principles.

As a busy mom, I was equally pragmatic and solution-oriented: whatever I created also had to be simple, manageable and easy to integrate into real life.

The more I researched, the more convinced I became that there was room for something different. Not another generic supplement, but targeted all-in-one formulations designed around the changing support needs of active individuals exposed to repeated physical demands, including conditions such as tennis elbow and golfer’s elbow.

Working together with experts, that idea gradually evolved into the Laimée Precision Nutrition System: three targeted formulations combining premium ingredients, scientifically studied compounds and advanced ingredient technologies for different stages over time.

Performance continuity became the objective

The problem was not only discomfort. The real frustration was having something I love put on hold.

I love tennis. I want to play.
I want to compete. I want to continue doing what I enjoy without losing valuable time to setbacks.
Performance continuity became the foundation of Laimée: Not chasing quick fixes. Not replacing movement, physiotherapy or load management.

But adding what I believed was a missing dimension: targeted nutritional support from within — bringing carefully selected ingredients together, so you do not have to navigate multiple separate supplements yourself.

As a tennis player, that's what I wanted for myself.
As the founder of Laimée, that's what I hope for you too.
